Integrated Piping Systems  - This seminar will present the benefits and applications of a 4 pipe system design that manages the domestic water temperature to Fan coils as an HVAC fixture.  Objectives of the course include design & code considerations, applications related to buildings with extensive domestic water distribution systems, applying the system concept to add heat or reheat of buildings, LEED and green building opportunities related to redundancy, CFC reduction, energy efficiency and material reduction. 

Introduction to Ventilation - This course on ventilation will discuss why ventilation is important in modern residential construction and the differences between whole building versus source or spot ventilation.  Objectives include understanding the major differences between ASHRAE 2010 and ASHRAE 2013, understanding 3 methods of complying with whole building ventilation; exhaust, supply and balanced.  Participants will learn to compute or look up the amount of CFM to meet ASHRAE requirements and some installation techniques.
